Privacy Policy – Chat Video Bulk Downloader

Updated October 31, 2026

Chat Video Bulk Downloader (Chrome extension) · Publisher: QuibbleTech Solutions Pvt Ltd · Last updated: 1 November 2026

Summary

Chat Video Bulk Downloader does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any personal data. Everything the extension does happens inside your own browser. The extension has no server, no analytics and no tracking.

What the extension does

When you click the extension on a page, it lists the videos on that page. It can also scroll the chat for you so older videos load. When you press Download, it saves the videos you selected to your computer.

Information handled on your device

  • Video links seen in the current tab. The extension notices video files the page loads (only the video URL and its file size). This list is kept in temporary browser session storage. It is cleared when you reload or close the tab and is never sent anywhere.
  • Your settings. The folder name and file name prefix you type are saved in local browser storage so they are remembered next time.
  • Downloaded videos. Files are saved directly by Chrome to your Downloads folder. We never receive them.

What we do not do

  • We do not collect names, emails, passwords, cookies, browsing history, page text or any other personal information.
  • We do not send any data to our own or any third-party servers.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
  • We do not sell or transfer user data to anyone.
  • We do not change, block or redirect any web request.

Permissions

  • downloads: to save the videos you choose.
  • scripting and activeTab: to scan the page you are on, only after you click the extension.
  • storage: to remember your folder and file name and keep the temporary video list for the tab.
  • webRequest and host access: read-only, to notice video files that chat pages load from their video servers, so they can be downloaded.

Your responsibility

Please download only videos you own or have the right to save, and follow the terms of each website you use.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
